Stour Valley Vineyard Church started in 2007.
Andrew and Emma Stewart-Darling pioneered this church plant out of Riverside Vineyard in London. They felt called to go to a place called 'Sudbury', a place they had never heard of before. Stepping out in faith, they started having church in their living room with a handful of people who loved Jesus. The church grew, started the towns first foodbank and marched on through the pandemic.
In 2021, the baton was passed to Joel and Kady Taylor who were called from California to take on the next chapter of the church.
What to Expect on a Sunday:
On arrival you’ll be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team who will say hello and make you feel at home. You will be offered fresh baked croissants, coffee & tea, so grab something to eat and drink before you take a seat!
Our Sunday service starts at 10:30am at the Vineyard Centre on Tudor Road, Sudbury, but we our doors open at 10am. We also live stream our service via YouTube if you are unable to join us in person.
If you have kids, we can also introduce to you our Planet Vineyard Team, so you can find out what kind of morning they will have too. It is always fun and just a little bit crazy! We operate in a place safety and accountability, so all our team is DBS checked. The kids and youth walk across the car park at 10:45am to The Phoenix Centre, where they have more space to spread out in their age appropriate groups.
We will then have a time of intimate worship, teaching and ministry time.
