We are busy preparing a new exciting programme for our kids and young people. As our church has grown, so have our youngsters. We felt a name change was in order. Kidz Korner no longer cuts it for our new teenagers. Hm! Wonder why? Planet Vineyard is going to be outta this world...well, figuratively speaking. Launch date: 5 September at our first fortnightly service of the term. See you at the launch pad! |

| As part of our SUMMER OF LOVE series of events, we’ve been invited over to make a splash at Mandy and Harry’s home in Fordham (20 minutes from Sudbury). So bring some togs, towel and something for teatime and invite some friends along and pretend you are on holiday. Speak to the SVV office for directions. | ||

| Area Theology Day - Saturday 18 September 10-4 pm | ||
| Senior Pastor Andrew Stewart-Darling will be taking a theology training day on James' letter at the Vineyard Centre at West Suffolk Vineyard in Bury St Edmunds. This day is particularly aimed at pastors, those leading in church life and for people who want to go deeper with their bibles. This is a free event and will follow an academic approach to James, rather than devotional. The Theology Day is one of four events planned to serve our Vineyard Area group of churches this year. | 3rd Birthday Celebration Church Service - Sunday 4 October | ||
| On Sunday 4 October at 10.30 am in the Town Hall we shall be holding a special celebratory service in gratitude to God's faithfulness for Stour Valley Vineyard Church. Has it really been 3 years? Leaders - your chance to come and hear Rick and Lulu Williams from Riverside Vineyard, West London, speak. Day starts at 10 am and finishes at 5 pm. King Edward VI School, Spring lane, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 3AU. Please book your place through SVV office. Rick and Lulu are senior pastors of a large established church in Feltham, Middlesex and were one of the original Vineyards to be planted in the UK over 20 years ago. They bring with them a whole host of knowledge and experience. One not to miss! |

| Hold a Neighbourhood BBQ - Anytime in July & August (Summer of Love) | ||
|
Invite a few people from your street or kids’ school for a weekend BBQ anytime in July and August. It’s amazing how many people live alongside each other, but never get a chance to meet, so it a great opportunity to open your doors and get to know your neighbours. If they want to bring anything, ask them to bring a can or two for Storehouse. |

Being a young church plant, we like to rest our leaders and ministry teams during August. It also gives our church an opportunity to go off and do non-churchy stuff. Sorry if you were hoping to visit us at this time. We start out fortnightly services again on Sunday 5 September at 10.30 in the Town Hall, Sudbury. Hopefully, we'll see you then? God bless.
